I have so much to talk about! I don't know where to start. So here it goes...
Last night, Izak came home early (or at least it seemed early to me) and he had groceries with him! Sometimes he really does amaze me! He knew that we needed stuff, but I hadn't started a list yet. He brought home the stuff that we spoke about, like lunch meat, AND stuff that we didn't talk about, like milk and cereal! I just love that man! :) He even got stuff for dinner that night AND picked up a vegetable. For those of you who know Izak he hates vegetables, and that's why it surprised me that he got some corn on the cob, that, next to peas, is probably the only vegetable that Izak really likes. The corn leads me to my next story...
This morning I went out to the kitchen to eat breakfast. I saw, on the floor, a mass of weird stuff. 'What is that?' I asked. And taking a closer step and squinting a little I tried to make it out. Was it foam from Bea's bath sponge? No.. it looked lighter... Is it... wait, it's CORN! Are you freakin' kidding me! The cats like corn? Who knew! Yet ONE more reason for me to leave them on the side of the road. Ugh.
On Saturday I got my hair trimmed and added some more bangs. I like it. I'm still adjusting to it. I'm still trying to get used to having more hair on my forehead and styling the dang things.. :) But I do like that one day I can have them all down in true full bang fashion and then have them swept to the side the next day. I also picked up some Bumble and Bumble hair powder. It's supposed to be the best thing for those of you who don't wash their hair everyday. (Jean Bean!) And I've been reading that you're NOT supposed to wash your hair everyday... so I decided to give it a try. I am currently sporting an unwashed do, thanks to Bumble and Bumble and In Style. It's up off my face, in a bun but with little braids sort of making their own headband. I sort of feel like I should be wearing leaderhosen (did I spell that right?) and yodeling. But as far as not washing the hair...I dunno. I guess what you do is wear your hair down the first couple of days and then wear it up the rest? We'll see. I'm going to experiment some more. I obviously don't have it down yet because I was still running late this morning! Haha.. so much for saving time by NOT washing my hair.
And in other news... I realized that I forgot to pick up some MORE nursing pads when I was at Target last week. Ugh! And I just can't seem to find the time to get back over there... just for those! (I have a few stashed around so I feel like I could maybe last the week.) But then I started thinking about always having to run to Target or, if I had washable reusable ones it would just be a matter of, throwing them in the wash. So I did it. I bought some. Was this fuelled by my need for them, or my need to buy on etsy!? I don't know. I think perhaps it's the latter. :)
That's all for now!
