Other funny things...

Last weekend Beatrice said: Hi, I'm Crystal.

WTF is that?? I asked her where Crystal was from and she said: George.

??

She said that again last night. It's funny and creepy at the same time.

Also Beatrice will say: That's annoying me Mommy.

Where does she come up with this stuff?

Chug-uh-Cheese

Chug-uh-Cheese is what Bea calls Chuck E. Cheese. We had gone to a birthday party there one weekend and it was so crazy busy that Beatrice didn't get a chance to play any of the games! So Izak decided we'd go during the week as a family. Beatrice was excited about it all week! Monday and Tuesday she'd ask if we were gonna go to Chug-uh-Cheese. She'd say: 'daddy! take me to chug uh cheese!' We kept telling her that we'd go Wednesday. Wednesday morning Beatrice woke up and said: 'go to chug uh cheese tonight?' That's all she talked about all morning and afternoon. She loved it! She got to play games and had so much fun gathering her tickets that she won. And she liked picking out her prizes too. Izak took her up to Chuck E. Cheese, but she didn't want to have anything to do with him. She wouldn't even high-five him while in Izak's arms. (Not that I blame her.) Beatrice had a blast and wants to go back again. She won't stop talking about going back!

Oh yeah...

I totally forgot to mention that we made a trip to the Easter Bunny on Saturday as well. He was standing at the gate waving at people as they walked by. I was trying not to visibly freak out for Bea's sake. (Yup, my friends, I don't like the fully covered thing... it freaks me out. You don't know where they're looking.. who they are... anyways.) Bea was actually waving to the Easter Bunny. But when it came time to sit next to him she was a little apprehensive. But once we but Millie in his arms she was a little more okay with it. She still didn't want to sit too close, or loose her Peeps!

Sorry the picture is a bit wonky. I must have not had it straight on the scanner. :)

Saturday Photo Shoot

Yesterday my mom and I took the girls to JCP for a photo shoot. I brought Peeps to bribe Beatrice and it worked! She was so good! We even got to go to Red Robin for lunch. We got some really cute pictures of the girls together and separately.

On Wednesday, St. Patrick's day, Beatrice brought home a leprechaun hat. She was so cute in it. She's holding her little pot of gold that the leprechaun left for her at daycare.

I got some three month pictures of Camille. She's super smiley and still such a sweet easy baby.

The other day Beatrice asked me: 'Sing me a song mommy!' When I asked her what did she want me to sing she said: 'I love Beatrice.' Which is a song I took from Bye Bye Birdie: "We love you Conrad, oh yes we do..." I just sing 'I' and stick the girl's name in it.

One morning we were loading up the car to go to daycare and as I got in Beatrice was saying: 'Stop breathing Camille! Camille is breathing too loud!' That sounded like something I would have said to Stacey when we were little.

The 'I wants' have started. We were all watching t.v and a commercial came on with a kitty in it and Beatrice said: 'Kitty! I want that!'

Beatrice talks a lot in her sleep. One night she was talking about a girl at school and she was saying: 'My baby sister! Change her?' I wonder exactly what she was dreaming. I know when Camille started daycare I told Bea that she would have to look out for Camille and make sure she was being changed... maybe that's what she was dreaming?

First Week

Wow. I can't believe my first week of work is over, and Camille's first week of daycare too. So far everything has been going well for both of us. Camille took a bottle fine and so far she hasn't rejected me at home. I miss her so much! As far as work goes, few things have changed and I've already fallen into my usual routine, which is nice.

Mary and Camille
Beatrice can now say: Super-licious (again trying to say supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.

The other day Beatrice was looking for her baby in the game room. She kept saying: Baby, are you?? Baby! Calling you!

I have some what of a busy weekend this weekend. I have a jewelery party today and then tomorrow we have a birthday party to go to at Chuck E Cheese! And we still need to get a birthday gift!

A couple of weekends ago we got a new bird feeder and a bird bath to put outside of the window that is right next to Bea's art table. We'd been waiting for birds the whole weekend and of course once Bea was off to daycare the birds came! So I took a quick picture for her. (Sorry about the screen!)

Beatrice and Izak are currently watching Rugby on his laptop.

Did I ever tell you....

That Beatrice creates tons of crafts at school. She used to call them craps. But now that her teachers have been enunciating the 't' she says: crapt. Haha. It's so funny to hear her say: "my crapt, my crapt!" as we're headed out the door of the daycare.

Beatrice was trying to say, supercalifragilisticexpialidocious (not sure if I spelled that right.) last night. All she could get out was: supergarage. Haha.

Occasionally Beatrice will help me with getting a new outfit for Camille. She'll ask me if I need a new lindsay for Camille. Lindsay is how Beatrice says onesie. Haha.

Seriously, she's such a crack up.

In other news. My first week of work is fast approaching. I feel like a ball of nerves! I've already planned my week's wardrobe. I hope I don't get any spit up on me coz I'll be out of luck then... I'm gonna be such a wreck on Monday as well since it will be Camille's first day of daycare.... gee I'm already starting to get choked up... man... I hope I can get through this week.

Where do I begin...

Last night we sat down for dinner of crock pot chicken and corn. I know it was a sparse meal but Bea and I had to eat fast because we had gymnastics. I poured myself a glass of cranberry juice. Beatrice promptly wanted some as well. I asked her if she was sure that she wanted some cranberry juice and she said: "yes, crammie juice pwease." So cute! Once she started eating she began to play with her corn. Sticking a kernel of corn under each eye, just being silly. Then she put one in her nose! At first it was barely in there and then she stuck her finger in her nose to try to get it out but of course she was just pushing it up further! So I told her to stop and I went to try to press it out of her nose... geez. I got it out rather easily, but man... I'm sure that won't be the last thing she sticks in her nose.

Camille went to the doctor this morning. She has an ear infection. And they gave her a breathing treatment... and now we have to get a nebulizer and give her a breathing treatment every 4 hours! :( This was supposed to be her first week of daycare, but it looks like she won't be going now... Poor little baby girl.

Dry Run

Today was my first day of pretending to go back to work. What I mean is this is my last week of maternity leave. I woke up earlier than usual to see how much time I would need to get ready and get the girls ready so we could be loading up the car by 7ish. I felt a little rushed in the end but we got to daycare 20 min. early! I am going to try it this whole week to get into the groove of things.

It was supposed to have been Camille's first day at daycare, but she's been so congested and now she has this awful little cough. I feel so sad for her. I kept her home in the hopes of getting her in to see the doctor, but the doctor can't see her till tomorrow. Maybe Wednesday will be her first day. (I'm still sad about that.)

Yesterday afternoon I mapped out the whole month's dinners. And then I sent Izak to the store to decipher my list of groceries. I have a few meals that I plan to make ahead and freeze. I wish I had other recipes like that because I think it will definitely be a time saver. Not to mention sanity saver?? We'll see how things work out. I've got chicken in the crock pot and brownies in the oven! Yum!!
