Climber

Izak and I have a climber on our hands. Beatrice loves to climb up on the sofa, the chairs, the bench and chairs at the table. The other day she took her first spill. I haven't had the chance to take a picture yet because I'm too freaked out that I'll have to run and catch her. Also she's going through this phase where she doesn't like to have her diaper changed. That makes for a fun time.

Big Girl

Bea's 'teachers' notified me the other day that Beatrice has graduated. She no longer sleeps in a crib. She sleeps on a mat on the floor with the big kids... Does this mean I need to get her a real bed? I'm kind of sad about this. :( My baby is growing up!

She loves him.

I really think Beatrice would miss Neko if we gave him a way. She's always rescuing him when he gets locked out in the garage. She loves to sit next to him and lay on him.... I guess we'll have to keep him for a little longer.

I am a human napkin

I'm a human napkin and sometimes I don't even realize it. This morning I got into work and I happened to notice on my right arm sleeve that I had some white chalky stuff on it... I was like, 'What the?' I ran a list of things it could be in my head, deodorant? No. Then it hit me. Beatrice was eating animal crackers in the car this morning. I always have her on my right hip when I carry her into daycare. That's what it was. It was animal crackers. I guess it's slightly better than spit up, but really only slightly better. :)

Baby on the lamb...bone

Bea is definitely her father's daughter. She loves lamb just as much as he does. So much so that she grabbed the lamb bone off my plate and started gnawing on it.

It's not the first time...

It's not the first time that Bea has had spaghetti. But I just couldn't resist snapping a few pictures of her in all her messy glory.

It was however her first double chocolate Milano cookie!

My birthday weekend... Bea was giving me her present, a bunch of yummy scented hand lotions from Bath&Body Works.

Auntie Stacey came to visit that weekend too. And Bea got to hang out with her.

My 2nd Mother's Day

My second Mother's Day was much more relaxing than my first. I got chocolate, gift cards, a last minuet pedicure with my mum, a digital photo frame, and most importantly breakfast in bed. I had given Beatrice some Kix in a bowl and she sat in bed with me and she would eat one and then give me one. She wouldn't just hand me one, she wanted to put it in my mouth. It's so funny. We spent the day at my parents house. I got to watch the movie Enchanted. I hadn't seen it before it was cute. I guess I better run I think I have a poopy diaper to change... I guess a mother's job is never done! Happy belated Mother's Day to all you wonderful Mom's in my life. I hope you all had a nice day.
