Whaaa??
Last week when I saw my doctor I was dilated to a 2 to 3. She said we could induce on the 21st if Camille didn't come sooner. Well today I saw my doctor again and guess what... I'm a four! (ACK!) My doctor says she doesn't think I'll make it to the 21st! How does that happen? I'm due on the 30th and now I might have Camille two weeks early? What freaks me out more is that I've never had my water break on it's own. I never went into labor 'naturally' I don't know what to expect! My doctor said to start sleeping on some towels and have some pads handy. Really? That's it? That's all the advice you can give me? Geez! She did take me off of work though, this Friday is my last day. I'm really hoping Camille doesn't come till AFTER I have her clothes and bedding washed and I've packed my suitcase... shoot I still need to register at the hospital. And I wanted to bake and go to Dezi's jewelry party on the 16th... Okay. I just need to calm down and take it one day at a time. :) Wish me luck!

don't freak out yet! My friend was at a 4 for a couple of weeks! So it is possible. My dr said the same thing to me about sleeping on a waterproof pad when I was at a 3....I took it easy cause I didn't want to go into labor on my own! I wanted to wait for the induction date. Though, I was induced like 2 weeks early. good luck!! everything will be fine! labor rarely starts with your water breaking. it'll probably start with contractions. :) and hopefully those won't be so bad in the beginning. I must warn you though, labor goes MUCH quicker the second time around! your body has memory and knows exactly what it's doing the second time!!
oh and don't wait until the contractions get painful...my friend did that and almost didn't make it to the hospital! her contractions weren't hurting that bad, but then she got the urge to push at home!! scary!!
