..spots that is. This morning Beatrice woke up with spots all over her. I called Bea's daycare to make sure no one had the chicken pox or something. Then I waited till the doctor's office opened and called them. They were able to get her in and it turns out that she's at the tail end of a viral infection. And that the spots should clear up within 24 to 48 hours. But until the spots clear up she is contagious and cannot go to daycare. :(
As it turns out last Friday when I went to pick Bea up her teacher said that one of the kids woke up from her nap and threw up. She just wanted to warn me that something might be going around. Izak and I had plans to go away this last weekend, so we left Bea with Gigi and GrandPee. Apparently Bea was miserable all weekend. She would hardly eat, she would point at a picture of Izak and I and say, "Mamma, Dad-da." I guess she was acting sad all weekend too. Maybe it was in part because she missed us, maybe it was because she was feeling sick.
So I'm home with a sick little spotted Bea. I hope her spots clear up tomorrow because she just looks awful... OH! But her ears are looking a little better. So that is some good news out of all this.
