2008

Despite some obstacles in 2008 I have to conclude that it was a good year. Merely because Beatrice was born. She turned our lives upside down. But in a good way. I wouldn't change 2008 for the world. And if I had to do it over again, I would. I love watching her grow and learn new things and test our patience. She's such a happy baby and I hope that stays with her forever.

I am so thankful for my family. I'm glad that it worked out that Izak and I stayed here. It's been so fun watching my Mom and Dad enjoy Beatrice and of course it's been nice to have them babysit. Thanks Mom and Dad, you guys are the best and I love you so much. I honestly don't know how I would have gotten through 2008 without you guys.

I've never been one for resolutions, and I hesitate to try to make any at this stage because of Bea. I've learned to roll with her. I've always been a planner but I realized that you can't really plan with a baby. I've found out that just as we're about to walk out the door Bea would either throw-up or poop all over. Thus changing our schedule and plans. So I merely resolve to try. I know, it's not much, but it's better than nothing. I don't want to let myself down in the process. This way if it's possible and it works cool, if not, oh well. I won't stress.

I'm looking forward to 2009. I'm sure it will bring many changes. I hope it will bring many changes. I hope 2009 will bring you all unexpected blessings.
