Kisses

I am home again with Bea today. Her spots are definitely fading. I'm confident she'll be able to go to school tomorrow. I just didn't want to take the chance and get all the other kids sick. I was up at 5am this morning so I could go into work and tie up some loose ends. Izak was able to go in a bit later in order for me to do this. It's going to be a long day for me... but it's just about Bea's nap time so perhaps I can sneak in a nap as well. We'll see.
I really wanted to write about Bea's kisses. She's been air kissing for a while now and we've been trying to get her to give kisses and to blow kisses. She blew her first kiss to Gigi yesterday afternoon. It was the cutest thing! And then this morning she kissed Izak on the cheek before he left for work! She's been 'walking' all around the house. She'll stand and grab onto something and then find something else to grab onto and she'll continue on that way till she's practically gone around the whole house. She's also been standing on her own for periods at a time.
Oh! And I think I've got her hooked on a new musical, Babes in Toyland. She loves it! Especially the gypsy scene when they shake their tambourines. She'll shake hers right along with them.
Beatrice also got her first pair of 'real' shoes this week. They are pink velcro and she loves them. Although I'm not sure if she likes them more on her feet or in her mouth, she loves to chew on them.
