Santa Picture...

Last night, around 5pm I got the girls dressed and ready for their Santa picture. We raced to the mall only to find as we walked up to the Santa picture place that Santa was packing up. They were closed. I was bummed. Now I'd have to try for sometime next weekend and my weekends this December are really busy. I could try for after school but Bea is normally so dirty and it just all seems like such a hassle to get them ready and then go to the mall... Santa asked the photo lady if she could do one more picture for the day. She said, 'Do you have cash?' Luckily I did. So we quickly got the jackets off of the girls and attempted to get them to sit with Santa. Bea didn't want to go of course! She was saying she'd take a picture with him before we got there. I even promised them chocolates afterwards. Millie was sitting somewhat contentedly on Santa's lap. Bea was taking too long to persuade. I was sweating bullets and trying to bribe Bea with anything... even a Barbie... (I couldn't think of anything else that she really wanted.) That wasn't working. Millie started freaking out and crying. I was getting super annoyed because these people were staying late just for us! I didn't want to waste their time after they so generously let us take a picture. So Santa had the idea that Izak and I sit down with the girls... and this is what we got....


I guess it's better than nothing...
