Happy Mother's Day!

My Mother's day started early. 3 a.m. to be exact. Camille woke up and was whimpering around in her crib. I thought she'd fall back asleep but she didn't. At 3:30 I got my sleepy lazy butt out of bed to see what was wrong with my baby. She didn't have a heavy diaper so I just crawled into bed with her. Bea had fallen asleep in my bed so we had her bed to ourselves. Camille flopped around for a bit and kind of whimpered. I could tell something was hurting her so I started to rub her back, then her belly when she flipped over. We both fell asleep. Around 5:30 a.m. Camille woke up puking. She puked all of her dinner up from the night before. She puked four times within an hour. Izak ran to the store and got her some pedialyte. From 5:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Camille would puke - soon her belly was empty and she was just vomiting up mucous or something. Then she would fall asleep for about 10 minuets in my arms and then she'd wake up puking again. I felt so bad! She wasn't keeping anything down. And she didn't want to drink the pedialyte. Finally around 10 I was freaked out enough to bring her into the walk in clinic. The doctor said she had a stomach bug. They gave her some medicine to help with the nausea. She immediately fell asleep for about 15 minuets in my arms in the doctor's office. The doctor came back in to check on her and gave us a prescription for more meds if she started throwing up again. He also said not to give her any solid food for the next 12 hours. She was just drinking pedialyte and eating jello all day. I felt even worse for her! She had some nasty diapers. But went to bed relatively okay last night. She woke up her usual rosy self this morning! I haven't received a call from the daycare yet so I'm assuming that she's back to feeling well and that she's eating fine. We'll see when I go to pick her up.
