This last weekend was fun. We took the girls to Disney Land with some friends of ours. To see Bea's face when Tinkerbell flew over Sleeping Beauty's castle was worth the long drive and whatever chaos took place at any given moment. Camille enjoyed it too. I'm so glad she was well enough for us to take her. She definitely needed some sun. Speaking of sun it was so nice to be down in Southern California, I always forget how nice the weather is down there.
The baby shower is slowly coming along. We finally got the invites out after many time changes and date changes! Trying to find the best time for the family members was such a cluster! But now we have a set date and we're on to the food, games... the fun stuff!
I took Bea out of soccer. We didn't make it to the first practice or game because we were out of town, which I knew would be the case. But when the coach initially called me he made it sound like the practice time would change. Last week practice was at 4 p.m. I can't make a 4 p.m. practice. Not only because I work but because Bea doesn't get out of her new school until 4 p.m. And it being on the other side of town we'd be late getting there and we'd probably end up missing the entire practice anyway. Today I called to see if she could get switched to another team and the guy said he couldn't switch her at this time and that he'd request a full refund for me. I kind of felt sad because I at least wanted to see how Bea would do. Oh well. It was turning out to be a cluster anyway. And I really wanted her to do T-ball.
