Hair

When Bea was a baby I used to be able to put little bows in her hair with out her knowing. As she got a bit older she realized they were there and would pull them out. (I think Camille is at this stage now.) Maybe around 1 1/2 she'd let me do the cute little half pig tails - cause that's about all the hair that she had. Then there was a phase where she didn't want me to do her hair at all. She always wanted to wear it down. (Hence her hair is down for her 2nd birthday party.) It seems like between 2 1/2 to 3 she suddenly became aware of her hair. The first hair style she wanted was Dorothy braids (yes, from the Wizard of Oz.) Then she'd alternate a Dorothy braid with a Jessie braid. Just yesterday she told me she wanted to wear her hair like Wendy in Peter Pan! I do like to do her hair and I have tons of ideas of things I can do to it... but at this point I'm still limited to what she wants. Will she ever just let me do her hair and be fine with it? I doubt it... Maybe I'll have better luck with Camille.
