So far things with the potty have been going really well. Sunday I had a break through with Bea. She was so excited that she peed in the potty. I was too! I told her she could pick out anything she wanted from the toys Izak had gotten her. Out of a Snow White, Belle, or Sleeping Beauty Barbie, and a Disney Princess coloring 'desk' she picked the tea set. The rest of the day found us running to the bathroom every 30min. (when my timer went off.) Before long she was telling me: 'Mommy, I got pee!' And we'd run to the bathroom.
Yesterday she stayed with Gigi to continue the training but mainly because Millie had a doctor appointment and I could just see me trying to pick her up without Bea and then dropping her off again.
Camille is perfect and healthy! She's 17lbs - still light. She's growing so fast though. When I went to pick her up she was sitting back holding and drinking her own bottle. She looked so big I almost started to cry! :(
This morning I was late for work again because Bea was on the verge of tears wanting to give me one last hug and kiss before I go. She also asked: 'you'll pick me up?' I said, yes. I always do. Mary had to drag her away from me. I felt so sad. Later Mary called to tell me Bea didn't cry this morning and that she peed in the potty!
Fingers crossed that this potty thing sticks!
