Yesterday I took Bea and Millie to see Bye Bye Birdie at the Encore Theatre. Gigi, Uncle David, and Brandy came with us. We were right up close next to the stage and the band. Bea and Millie loved it! When the band started the overture Camille was just enthralled by them, she just watched them the whole time. Then once the actors came on she was equally enthralled by the actors as well. She did fall asleep though, but throughout the whole thing she was a dream! I'd venture to say more well behaved than Beatrice. :) Bea started getting antsy towards the end of the first half. But when intermission came around and she was able to get popcorn that kept her satisfied for the rest of the show. She does like to talk though and it's hard to get a two year old to whisper! I think it was better for Bea at Encore since the audience is able to eat there. Bea was so cute she had a bag of M&M's and she'd be intently watching the scene and eating her M&M's and then when it came time to clap she'd gently put her bag of M&M's down and clap, then she'd pick them back up again. It was so cute. I really think I enjoyed watching her reaction to the show more than the show itself. To see her smiling at the action on stage. It was the cutest thing.
At the end of the show we got to see my friend that played Rosie. Bea, without any prodding said: Good job! Then as we were walking away she was waving and yelling: Good bye Rosie! Good bye Rosie!
In other news the last week Bea has been awful when I drop her off to daycare in the morning. She cries and screams and throws a fit! It makes me feel so bad, I just want to cry. I don't know what to do. And more importantly I don't know why she's started this. She's never done this before - not to this extreme - on a daily basis.
I've also got to seriously think about setting time aside to get Bea potty trained. I was just kind of hoping she'd take to it on her own. But alas, no luck there. Geesh.
Random: Bea has dress up shoes and for whatever reason she calls them 'daughter' shoes. Not sure why that is. :)
