Saturday I had my first Girl Scout Troop field trip! It went really well! We visited a dairy and I got to learn a bunch of new things about cows and running a dairy that I've never even known before! I got some great pictures of the girls and I plan to make little photo albums for each of them at the end of the year. I hope all our future endeavors go as well and as smoothly.
Sunday afternoon Millie had a slight fever. Sunday night she woke up with a high fever and was wheezing a bit. Izak gave her Tylenol, flo-nase, and her inhaler and she fell asleep in my arms. Monday morning around 4 a.m. she woke up gasping for air. I was going to put her in the bathroom with steam, but she was so frantic and crying and telling me: 'Mommy I love you' in her little tiny voice over and over again, I just had a horrible feeling and I started crying and tried to hold her and calm her down. Izak took her and we gave her three breathing treatments while he rubbed a ice pack on her back. She finally calmed down but we'd pretty much already decided to take her to the E.R. She seems to be fine now. Still wheezing but at least her breathing is back to normal. The P.A gave her a steroid to open her throat up because they said her chest was clear... so we're just waiting to see if she bounces back.
Millie playing around. Waiting to be seen by the doctor....
Her baby needed some help too.
Millie, playing doctor...
Also Sunday night I had my first round of auditions for the show I'm directing. I had a really good turn out. I'm excited to see who shows up tonight...
Can I go back to bed now?
