Kindergarten Dilemma

In a perfect world...

Bea would have gotten transferred from our home school to the school right across the street from the new preschool she and Millie will be going to.

But this isn't a perfect world...

My options are: To keep Bea where she is (there are still spaces open.) But move Millie (there aren't any spaces open for her.) Yes, I'd still be spending exactly what I'm spending now and making the stupid drive ACROSS town.

Or keep Bea there and try to see what comes up for Millie by trying to bring her back? (This may involve having to keep Millie at work for part of the day because they might only have afternoon spaces available like they did when Bea started.)

Or find another school entirely - I think I'm too late in the game for that.

I've looked into places that watch the kids and take them to school but the only one I know of doesn't make it out to our home school.

So at this point I'm still spending my lunch break picking Bea up and taking her:

  With me to the office?

To another daycare? (The preschool we're moving to doesn't have space to watch her in the afternoons.)

Or do I just leave her at her home school and sign her up for the afternoon program which I've heard not so great things about?

I've already called the new preschool and told them my dilemma... with any luck an afternoon space will open up and everything will be gold!  At least that's what I'm hoping for.
