Night Five

No crying! Didn't even try to get into our room where Izak was. In fact Beatrice closed her bedroom door. Watched Annie AGAIN, had the nightlight on... I escaped around 10ish. I barely got any sleep though because, again, I was looking at the monitor. All I could see where her legs and it was all I could do to not go back into her room and fix the damn camera. I left the nightlight on for her when I left, something about waking up in a pitch black room without your parent there just doesn't sit well with me. Around 2 a.m. I heard her padding her way down the hall into our room. It was all I could do not to scoop her up and have her sleep with us. I knew that wouldn't be good for the progress we've been making so I took her back to her bed and laid down with her. She had some pretty bad dreams so I was glad I was there. I couldn't fall asleep right away and I realized it was probably because of the nightlight. So I had to get up and turn it off. When my alarm went off for the morning I just got up, turned the hallway light on and went to eat breakfast. Sure enough Bea came out calling for Rugby! And he promptly came around the corner to answer her. I am glad I no longer sleep in a twin bed anymore... I can't wait till we get Bea comfortable enough to be in there, I don't know how much more I can take of twin bed sleeping...

Oh my gosh, I was thinking the same thing! You must be so tired. I don't know how you do it, but yay that you are sticking out. I bet in a couple of weeks she will not even need you to be in her room at all.

Just wait to you hear her whispering "1-800-MOM". Biggest heartbreaker ever!! Do you remember that??
