Where do I begin?
The last two nights Bea has started this new thing. I'm gonna call it a phase because I really hope that's all it is. Normally Bea falls asleep in out bed, and then once she's asleep we move her into her crib. Well the last two nights she's been waking up just as we put her into her crib. Last night was the second night she almost slept in our bed. I woke up at 1 a.m. because I was practically falling off the bed. (Bea tends to take up a lot of space.) I scooped her up and walked her to her room and as soon as I put her in her crib she woke up and started crying! I picked her back up and took her back to bed with us where she immediately fell back to sleep. I laid there and thought about what is going to happen once the new baby comes. There is no way Bea can be sleeping with us. I was also considering what would happen if I just left her in her crib. She would have to cry it out. At first I thought, tomorrow, if she does this again tomorrow night I'll tackle it then. And then I thought, no I needed to nip this in the bud now. So I got up and put her back in her crib. She cried. I turned on her night light and shut the door. She continued to cry. I didn't budge. She eventually feel asleep. I wonder how long this will go on.
In other news I got a call last night from my high school English teacher. We've kept in touch over the years and she was back in town and would like to see my family. I figured we'd meet somewhere. As it turns out she's going to come to my house! My house has been a mess for a while. And I'm serious. It's been hideous, my family and Sergio have seen it first hand. It's rather embarrassing for me, but I just haven't been motivated to get up off my ass and do something about it. Well now I had to. And I think I over did it. I was feeling fine getting the house cleaned making good time. Izak and Bea went to get lunch. Once they were back I took a break to eat. Well probably an hour or so later my lunch was not sitting well. My first official puking of this pregnancy. UGH. And what's worse I have one more room to do! :( Maybe I'll tackle it tomorrow.
I have a bunch of pictures to post of all the shenanigans that Bea's gotten into this weekend. I will post later.

I hate The Notebook
I hate the movie The Notebook. I hate the end. Izak was watching it yesterday and I wanted him to turn it off. He didn't. I was kind of half ass watching it, but then the end started and I had to leave because I started to cry. I hate this movie because I think of my grandma Bea. And I wonder if she was like that. Did she have moments of clarity and wonder where her family was? That's the part that makes me the saddest. Thinking that she was sitting in a home somewhere, remembering her family and wondering where they were. Who knows she may have just as quickly forgotten everything and it wouldn't have bothered her. But that movie always makes me wonder and I hope, for her sake, that those supposed moments of clarity didn't occur often. Love you Grandma Bea.

Strange Store Story
Last night around 6:30 or so Izak went to the store. He came back with a strange story. He was in an aisle looking for whatever product he needed. He saw two young guys, probably in their early twenties coming towards him rather quickly. He braced himself and one of the guys full on ran into him. The kid clearly didn't expect to hit such a solid surface and he fell on his butt. The other kid started yelling stuff like, "Why'd you knock my friend down? Why did you say that? I'm gonna call the cops and have you arrested coz you assaulted my friend!" Izak just kind of stared at him and quietly said, "What are you talking about?" In the mean time a crowd was forming. The kid kept going off. Izak then quietly said, "You better stop this shit or you WILL be assaulted." The kid wouldn't stop. Izak just left the aisle. (He made sure he still had his phone and wallet!) Izak continued shopping and he could hear the kids doing the same thing to other people. When he went to check out he told the manager what the kids were doing, he thought maybe they were high or something. I guess someone had already complained because there was a cop car outside the store. How scary is that!? It's a good thing that the store has surveillance camera's just in case the cops did try to arrest Izak, they would have clearly seen that he didn't do anything. What is this world coming to!?

She cracks me up!
This is Beatrice just chillin' in the lazy boy. I turned my back for a second and she had crawled up in here and got comfy.
Yesterday I was in the kitchen making my Dad his annual Angel Food cake for Father's Day. Beatrice wasn't happy that she was locked out... so she found away to get around the fence... sort of...

Strong Girl
The other night Bea was in her room playing and I was out in the family room or kitchen cleaning something up. Bea comes up to me and she's pointing down the hall. Of course I'm like, "What Bea? What are you pointing at?" She keeps pointing. I start walking down the hall and she's walking besides me. We go into her room and her humidifier has been tipped over and there is a good amount of water soaked into the carpet. Now this humidifier maybe holds a gallon or more of water. It was full and it's pretty heavy. I have no clue how she managed to tip the dang thing over. She's definitely stronger than I realized.

First Blood
Last night Beatrice took a little spill and hit her mouth on the edge of the sofa. Luckily it was the edge of the cushion on the sofa so it wasn't as hard as it could have been. I quickly picked her up and was trying to comfort her. Izak was trying to see what exactly she hit. He was able to look at her face and she had a trickle of blood coming out of the right side of her mouth! I started to cry. We tried pulling open her mouth and her teeth looked all bloody too. We gave her some water, then some juice to get the blood taste out of her mouth. I checked her teeth, they felt pretty secure in there. We couldn't find where the blood came from. We figured maybe one of her teeth just nicked the inside of her mouth somewhere. She bounced back very quickly of course, like nothing happened.
On a funny note Bea will sometimes try to play with things that she shouldn't. I've always said, in a stern voice, "Beatrice do you want to go to time out?" And then I'd start counting to three. Just recently when I ask her if she wants to go to time out, she looks at me and shakes her head and says: 'noo.' It's the cutest thing! Then she walks away from where ever she shouldn't be and plays with a toy of hers.
