Over the weekend we worked on Bea sleeping in her own bed. The first night she cried of course and huddled in the right hand corner of her crib. I had her Baby Einstein music playing. A night light from when I was little and her Beatrice light on. (Her Beatrice light is one of those glass cubes filled with Christmas lights and it has her name written on the front.) It's really pretty, but Izak and I are not sure if she likes it. Anyways, she also had her baby with her. She eventually fell asleep. She woke up around 3 a.m. crying. I was going to go in there, change her diaper turn the music back on and leave her in her crib. But when I picked her up she was shaking! Shaking like she was freaked out, and she hadn't been crying for that long, so it couldn't have been from that.
Last night we tried it again. She did the same thing, huddled in that same corner with her baby. She cried for a good 30 min. and then stopped. She laid down and was seemingly going to fall asleep. Then the air conditioner went off and I think she thought it was me so she looked up. When I didn't appear she put her head back down. Her music finally ended and it looked like she was actually going to fall asleep. But then she got up and started crying again. She didn't cry for very long. I got up to change the CD. We had been watching Mamma Mia! all weekend so I thought she would enjoy some ABBA singing her to sleep. When I went into her room to change the CD, she was visibly trembling. It freaked me out! I don't know if she's afraid of that light, or the CD player... I'm going to try to move things around this afternoon. I don't want to terrorize her if she's genuinely afraid to be in her room at night. Ugh! I just felt awful last night. She was upset and I started crying... needless to say she slept in our room.

I'm sorry that must feel horrible
:( Poor Bea. I wonder if you could just stay in the room with her until she falls asleep? Or maybe leave her light on but dimmed. When we put Adam down, we just dim the lights and then go in and turn it off when he falls asleep. Hopefully you guys will figure out what is her bothering soon.
Poor Bea and you!
Maybe she was cold? Does she have her own pillow in her crib now? That might help her be more comfy.
Maybe try some white noise in the background. For Zachary he went through a stage where I had to put the humidifier on just for the noise for him to sleep well.
Whatever you do, I think consistency is the key. So just stick with whatever routine you decide to do.
Just bring her over to Gigi's! Her sibling is here - and all of her cousins!
